For this first in a series of transformer deliveries, Buckingham Heavy Transport met the barge delivering the transformer at dockside. The crew set 40-foot Buckingham barge ramps, then drove 12 lines of Goldhofer onto the barge and under the transformer. After securing the transformer on the trailer, they rolled it off the barge and transported it several miles to its destination. At the pad, the team used 35 feet of Buckingham jack and slide to span the containment wall and offload the 457,454-lb transformer from the trailer to pad.
